LA FARGA DE BEBIÉ          

La Farga de Bebié is one of the most emblematic textile colonies in the industrial landscape of Catalonia (The Swisses). It is part of two municipalities: Les LLosses (456 hectares in the province of Girona) and Montesquiu (32 hectares in the province of Barcelona) (Latitude 42”8’N longitude 2”12’E).

The colony is made up of the factories and districts of Tibidabo, Balcón del Ter, Sunyers, and Las Torres, which are to the right of the settlement (as the river Ter flows) and are part of the Les Llosses municipality (Girona). It also includes the districts of Conangla, El Soleil, and the Train and Church stop, situated to the left of the colony and belonging to the municipality of Montesquiu (Barcelona).
